I’ve come to appreciate this quote in terms of business, parenting, relationships & life in general.
It’s a reminder that “the best laid plans” don’t always follow the predictable, wide road and we often find ourselves seemingly off-track, pushing through thorns, learning and experiencing life in the moment…just-in-time learning at it’s best.
For business, it’s a reminder to stay humble, grounded and hold our plans loosely as the little side tracks are often the areas where life is smoothing out our edges.
